988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline

The 988 Suicide and Crisis Lifeline is a national network of local crisis centers that provides free and confidential emotional support to people in suicidal crisis or emotional distress 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention provides information about suicide, supports and services and resources for survivors.

Center for Disease Control (CDC)

The Center for Disease Control provides information and resources about suicide and ways to identify and reduce factors reduce risk.

National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI)

NAMI is the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions of Americans affected by mental illness.

National Institute of Mental Health (NIMH)

The National Institute of Mental Health shares information about mental illness and suicide prevention, including statistics, symptoms, treatment options, and risk factors.

SAMHSA Suicide Prevention Resources

SAMHSA provides suicide prevention information and other helpful resources to behavioral health professionals, the general public, and people at risk.

Suicide Prevention Resource Center

The Suicide Prevention Resource Center provides articles, tools​, fact sheets and other education resources developed by SPRC and other suicide prevention organizations and experts.

The National Action Alliance for Suicide Prevention

Action Alliance is a non-partisan public-private sector national partnership for suicide prevention focused on advancing the goals and objectives for the National Strategy for Suicide Prevention (National Strategy) - the road map for comprehensive approach to preventing suicide.

The Trevor Project

The Trevor Project is the leading national organization providing crisis intervention and suicide prevention services to lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer & questioning (LGBTQ+) young people under 25.
